February 13, 2018 – San Diego Employers Association (SDEA) and North County Human Resources – San Diego (NCHR-SD) are partnering to offer members of both organizations expanded human resources training and educational opportunities. Members of NCHR-SD will receive discounts on SDEA’s HR class offerings, including classes aimed at preventing workplace harassment, as well as receiving discounted rates on a variety of member benefits.
As part of the partnership, SDEA will offer HR classes to NCHR-SD members, including a 9-week Management Essentials Certificate program, the aPHR Certification Preparation course, Preventing Workplace Harassment, and Progressive Discipline. Other benefits for NCHR-SD members who join SDEA include unlimited phone access to an HR consultant, access to an employment law attorney, and an employment practices review.
NCHR-SD offers SDEA members a number of benefits including a 10% discount on membership, discounted rates on training programs and networking events, as well as HRCI and SHRM recertification credits. With this new partnership, SDEA members located in North County will be able to take advantage of an expanded offering of classes and programs located near them.
