Wilson Turner Kosmo just shared their 2024 Compliance Checklist with SDEA. This tool is provided to attendees at SDEA’s 44th Annual Employment Law Update on January 24, 2024.
To give you a ‘sneak peek’, the checklist is 19 pages long and includes information on the new minimum wage and how it affects exempt employees as well as industry-specific minimum wage requirements (something I think we will see more of); new leaves of absences, including but not limited to new requirements on leave for reproductive purposes; mandatory requirements for workplace violence prevention plans; hiring practices revisions, specifically drug testing changes; federal laws affecting California employers and so much more.
